Houston, Texas. Open to opportunities.

Joshua Haman

I take someone else's messy process, work out what it needs to do, build a prototype, and document it.

Consult, prototype, present. That pattern is most of what I do, and it happens to work on almost anything technical.

I'm Joshua Haman, based in Houston, Texas. I'm a Professional Services Intern at AssetWorks, a fleet and asset management software company, where I've spent this summer picking up half-finished internal problems and turning them into things people can actually use: a reporting tool, a consolidated data workbook, a quoting app someone else had to abandon.

I finished my AAS in Cyber Security Technology at Texas State Technical College and I'm continuing with a BS in Information Technology at WGU. The infrastructure and security background isn't separate from the consulting work. It's why I can sit in a requirements meeting and know what's actually buildable.

Technical Projects

Things I built, in and out of work. Each one started as a problem someone actually had.

01

OpenClaw: Self-Hosted AI Gateway

A Node.js gateway I run as the backbone for my own automation. Routes requests to a hosted LLM provider and exposes the same assistant through Discord and Telegram bots. Went through several providers before settling on one that held up under real use.

Key Learning Rate limits and provider reliability drive architecture more than model choice does. Swappable providers were worth building in early.

Website Development

Every site I have designed, built, and deployed, for my own brand and for local businesses. Hand-written HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript, no page builders, across GitHub Pages, Netlify, and Bluehost.

Built a virtualized lab environment to simulate enterprise networks and practice cybersecurity and infrastructure management.
